Workshops in Saint Anthony, Idaho
Idaho Art Lab in Saint Anthony, Idaho - exterior

Idaho Art Lab workshops will be offered in Saint Anthony, Idaho. Renovations will begin in June if our funding plans go through. The Idaho Art Lab will be located in the Marian Hamilton Gallery of Art at 7 North Bridge Street. Please see our Contact page to request to be notified of our Grand Opening ceremony.

Infants & Toddlers

FREE classes will be offered for infants and toddlers. We will be implementing the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching art. This will be a very interactive art lesson between the adult, child and other children in the workshop. The Reggio Emilia workshops will teach parents, daycare operators and teachers to listen to and observe the child during the creation of art. The child's art and method of creating that art will tell us much about how the child learns. This understanding will aid in future lessons of all disciplines. Artwork will be loosely structured to allow the child great freedom in the art they wish to create. You will be amazed at what you learn about your child.

Elementary School Children

If your child is in elementary school, workshops will be offered FREE of charge. Elementary schools in our area have cut art classes from their budgets which is why the Idaho Art Lab program was created. After school and summer workshops will be offered. In-school workshops will be offered FREE of charge to local elementary schools. The following is our projected in-school workshops.
